Everest region is a paradise for trekking and climbing activities in Nepal. Everest High Passes Trek is a technical and challenging trip in the Everest region. It includes the Kongma La Pass, Chola Pass and Renjola Pass. It offers adventurous experiences of trekking through the high passes, mountain views of the Everest range and Sherpa traditional lifestyles. It is a dream trip for the trekkers in Nepal.

With a great preparation, the trek starts from Lukla and goes along the trail to Namche Bazaar. On the rest and exploration day, the trekkers can visit the local place and know about the rustic lifestyle with Tibetan Buddhists’ cultural heritages. The mountain views are also spectacular during the hiking. Then it moves towards the Tenboche, Dingboche, Chhukung and cross the Konma La Pass (5535m) to reach the Lobuche. Reaching the Everest Base Camp and Kalapatthar, it descends to Dzongla and cross the most challenging passes of the trip, The Cho La Pass (5380m). It descends to Gokyo and spend a hiking day to Gokyo RI. It is situated just above the Gokyo valley. The last pass of the trip is Renjo La (5388m) and trek down to Lukla via Namche Bazaar. The views of Mt. Everest, the highest peak of the world along with Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Makalu and other mountain views are breathtaking.

Combined with the Everest Base Camp and Gokyo Lake, the Everest High Passes Trek offers the views of unique flora and fauna, rugged trail and culturally wonderful ethnic villages. Acclimatization and good physical condition are the primary factors to make this trekking.

Day to Day Itinerary

Day 01 :Arrive at Kathmandu (1350m).

Day 02 :Kathmandu Sightseeing.

Day 03 :Flight to Lukla, trek to Phakding (2656m).

Day 04 :Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3450m).

Day 05 :Rest and exploration.

Day 06 :Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3867m).

Day 07 :Tengboche to Dingbuche (4240m).

Day 08 :Dingbuche acclimatization

Day 09 :Dingbuche to Chhukung (4730m).

Day 10 :Chhukung to Lobuche via Kongma- La pass (5535m).

Day 11 :Lobuche to Everest Base Camp (5364m) and trek back to Gorakshep (5184m).

Day 12 :Climb up to Kalapathar (5550m) and trek down to Dzongla (3830m).

Day 13 :Cross the Chola Pass (5380m), and trek to Thangnang (4700m).

Day 14 :Thangnang to Gokyo (4790m).

Day 15 :Gokyo to Gokyo RI (5360m).

Day 16 :Gokyo to Lumde (4380m), via Renjo-La pass (5388m).

Day 17 :Lungden to Thame (3820m).

Day 18 :Thame to Monjo - 2835m.

Day 19 :Monjo to Lukla - 2840m.

Day 20 :Fly to Kathmandu.

Day 21 :Leisure day in Kathmandu.

Day 22 :Final Departure.
