Jiri to Everest base camp Trek is the traditional trip, which ultimately leads you to the Everest base camp through Namche Bazaar and Tengbuche. During the trek, you have an opportunity to discover the striking landscape of the Khumbu region, stunning views of the Himalayas, alpine forest and the surrounding attractions. It is amazing to trek for the long time through the route, which was used by the first Everest climbers Tenzing Norgay Sherpa and Edmund Hillary.

The trek from Jiri to Everest Base Camp begins from Jiri, which is 120 km drive east from Kathmandu. Then it commences through the rugged trail, containing various views of the hills and gorges, streams and forests along with the local villages sights. Passing through the Sherpa village, you reach to the Phakding and Namche Bazaar. The mountain views include of Mt. Everest, Pumori, Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Nuptse, Thamserku and others. You can experience the typical Sherpa culture and religious heritages. A Buddhist monastery in Tengboche is world renowned and preserves various arts and architectures. With the acclimatization and enjoying the views of the forest. Flora and fauna, you reach the base of the highest peak in the world. Kalapatthar is another best viewpoint for the Himalayan range and sunrise. Descending through Pheriche, Namche Bazaar, you trek down to Lukla and fly back to Kathmandu. It is better to trek in spring and autumn for the outstanding views and experience.

Day to Day Itinerary

Day 01 :Arrive in Kathmandu (1300m).

Day 02 :Kathmandu Sightseeing.

Day 03 :Drive Kathmandu to Jiri and continue to Bhandar.

Day 04 :Trek from Bhandar to Sete (2575m).

Day 05 :Sete to Junbesi (2670 m).

Day 06 :Junbesi to Nunthala (2220m).

Day 07 :Nunthala to Bupsa (2360m).

Day 08 :Bupsa to Surke (2290m).

Day 09 :Surke to Phakding (2652m).

Day 10 :Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m).

Day 11 :Acclimatization day in Namche Bazaar.

Day 12 :Namche to Tengboche (3860m).

Day 13 :Tengboche to Dingboche (4350m).

Day 14 :Dingboche to Lobuche (4910m).

Day 15 :Trek to Gorak Shep (5180m), hike to Everest Base Camp (5365 m), back to Gorakshep.

Day 16 :Hike to Kalapatthar (5545m) early morning and trek down to Pheriche (4200m).

Day 17 :Pheriche to Namche Bazaar.

Day 18 :Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2804m).

Day 19 :Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu.

Day 20 :Leisure day in Kathmandu.

Day 21 :Final Departure.
